1955 Tweed Deluxe Amplifier

The Tweed Deluxe (5E3 circuit, class A, cathode biased) was produced from 1955 to 1960. More expensive than the Tweed Champ, the Deluxe is more powerful with 14 Watts of distortion-less power (20 watts crank up all the way). The striped airplane luggage linen (Tweed for short) covered amplifier is a blues man’s and rocker’s favorite. The Deluxe was and still is one of the best recording amplifier in the studio and is the "epitome of small blues clubs amplifier". Billy Gibbons and Neil Young are among players who made this amplifier popular.
